what subject combination I must take for the engineering line

To get admission in to Engineering course in undergraduate level you must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board. SO you need to opt for PCM in 10+2 level to get admission in to Engineering. There is an exception for admission in to Engineering courses like B.Tech Bio-Technology, B.Tech Bio-Medical Engineering etc. For course the candidate must have passed in either Biology or Mathematics or both along with Physics and Chemistry. So if you want to get admission in these courses you need to have PCMB/PCB else PCM should be your combination of mandatory subjects. Depending on the college you are applying you need to have the minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination,
