what to choose after 10th and what to study after 10th
Hello,
Class 10 happens to be a crucial stage in a student’s life. It is after the board exams that one needs to decide the future career path which starts with deciding the streams to select. Selecting the right stream is really important as a candidate's future depends on it.
Some of the different streams available after class 10 are as follows:
Science
The subjects studied in this course are Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer along with English and a vernacular language, depending on the board and medium you opt for. The stream presents a gamut of career options with Engineering and Medical Sciences being the most sought. The major advantage of choosing Science is that it allows students to change streams and take up Arts or Commerce later in their lives if they are not at ease with programs or specializations available at the graduation level.
Commerce
Commerce is known as the second most popular stream and is best known for business management skills it imparts. Subjects include Business Economics, Accountancy, Business Study and Business Law. Basic knowledge of accounting, auditing, income tax, marketing, and general business economics topics are also covered.
Arts/Humanities
Humanities or Arts is the least preferred stream and is limited to students who are interested in academic research. However it is now emerging as an interesting career choice as there are opportunities galore in this domain. One can opt for career paths in Mass Media, Journalism, Literature, Languages, Social Service, History, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Human Resources, and Economics.
These streams are to be opted based on which appeals one the most and the skillset one carries.
Hope this helps you. We wish you the best for your future endeavours!

Hello Arpit, I'll guide you with the different courses available, but at the end of all the information it has to be only you who has to choose the best field for self only after realizing where your interest exactly lies.
So there are basically 3 different branches after 10th.
If you are good at Maths or Biology, and aim to become an Engineer or a Doctor, you can go with the Science Field, you will need to give some entrance exams based on your 10+2 syllabus.
The other field is Commerce, if you are interested in BUISNESS, Finance, Management, etc you can go on with this field.
And the last one is Architecture. If you like drawing, painting, interior designing, innovative thinking, then you can choose this stream.
Obviously each of this streams has a lot of subdivisions and substreams within them, for eg you choose engineering, then there are more than 15 different branches of Enggineering available.

Hi,
I think you should explore more and try to understand your interests. Try to figure out your favourite subjects, what interests you more like is it biology? Maths? Physics? Anything. If you like History go for arts, if you want to explore more and want to study about indian economy or business go for commerce. Just think about your interests and explore more and more about it. If going for science then think that are you even interested in physics or chemistry? Because any stream comes with a whole lot of subjects. So the key is to explore your interests.
Thank you.
