Dear aspirant, you haven't mentioned the subject you are asking for. So, I'll tell you for all the three subjects.
Chemistry -
I am starting with chemistry as questions from this subject is comparatively easier. If you complete your NCERT sincerely then as per the new pattern you will be able to attempt more than 60% questions. Many times direct NCERT questions come in JEE MAINS. Also the theoretical questions can be attempted easily as they require less time.
Mathematics -
I will use the word UNPREDICTABLE for mathematics. The reason is you can't predict the questions from this subject. I gave JEE in 2018 and in 2017 the mathematics part was easier than ours. Questions in mathematics are comparatively harder than the other two, that's my personal experience. Every question is unique in its way.
Many times you think you have mastery in coordinate Geometry but the question will require use of vectors, without them you won't be able to solve the question.
Physics -
Questions in physics are generally easier than in mathematics but not that easier. Every question will require your mind to think. Questions are not very direct in Physics. If you get direct question then you may consider yourself to be very lucky. Sometimes the exam setter wants your mind to run marathon. In this case it's your thinking ability that can help you.
All the best
Hope this helps
Hello,
Mcqs and numericals will come in Jee mains in 2020. The mcqs are also generally numerical based or conceptual. There will be 20 mcqs and 5 numerical questions in each physics, chemistry and mathematics. Hope this helped!
Questions in JEE MAINS PAPER 1 comes from Physics, chemistry and mathematics of classes 11th and 12th.Basically conceptual questions are asked in jee mains. You just need to go through the JEE MAINS SYLLABUS which is nearly same as of your 11th and 12th board syllabus. It focuses more on numerical problems.
Ask if any query
hi,
question structure is you will get 75 questions. 25 from mathematics, 25 from physics and 25 from chemistry. question will be on conceptual understanding and numerical ability. this year in each subject there will be 5 numerical question with numerical value as answer. you need to calculate and put the answer. most of the important thing is you need to decide for which subject how many time should take. time management comes with a lot of practice. arihant mcq books and tata macgraw is best for practice.
