The candidate belonging to OC( general)category must secure at least40% in both the papers taken together and at least 35% marks in both the papers taken together for SC, ST, OBC, PWD, Transgender, for Assistant Professor or JRF.
Step II:
No. of candidates who qualify for Asst. Professor should be equal to6%of the total candidates appeared in both papers all slots.
No. of candidates who qualify for JRF should be equal to1% of the total candidates appeared in both papers all slots.
Step III:
The total slots shall be allocated to different categories as per thereservation policy.
Step IV:
The method used for calculating the no. of candidates to be declared qualified in any subject for a specific category is shown below:
Example:
No.of candidates to be declared qualified for Eligibility for Asst Professor in the subject Economics for the General category.
The aggregate percent of both papers corresponding to the no.of slots arrived at, will determine the qualifying cut-off for Eligibility forAsst Proffesor in Economics subject for the General category.
In a similar way,subject wise cut off for all categories will be computed by applying the same method.
Step V:
All the candidates who had applied for Assistant Professor & JRF both, out of the total no. of qualified candidates as per Step IV, shall be taken into consideration zone for JRF.
Step VI:
The total no. of slots available for awarding JRF is allocated among different categories subject wise as per Reservation Policy.
