what we should consider the most while joining an nit is it the branch or the college?

To select an Institute you main concern should be the college Infrastructure, students faculty ration, education quality, placements records, extra curricular activities. according to my opinion the above mentioned criteria matters a lot when it comes to your bachelors degree rather then of campus life , surroundings.
however you must also have the approximate Idea about how much tuition fees, hostels charges you have to pay for the full course. so the location also matters cause if you get the college nearest your location your transportation charges would be reduced.

First of all you should think what you had to go for either its branch or college if you are career oriented and know which branch to choose from as its your way to the career. If college life also matters in terms of locality, outer surroundings and many more.
Your main goal must be which college and branch you want and what you are getting, if its meeting your goal perspective. Career is the main foundation for every child so one must choose it wisely.
