Hello,
For 2026 board exams (CBSE/State boards), the pattern will follow the New Education Policy (NEP) changes. CBSE already shifted to more application-based and competency-based questions:
- Around 40% competency-based questions (case study, assertion-reason, MCQs).
- 20% objective questions (MCQs).
- 40% descriptive/subjective questions.
The syllabus will still follow NCERT but with more focus on understanding concepts.
