The entrance examination for lateral admissions into 2nd year regular B.E. and B.Tech courses in participating institutes was held for Diploma and B.Sc (Mathematics) degree holders. AP ECET 2019 was conducted by JNTU Ananthapur in online mode on April 30. The result of AP ECET 2019 released on May 13. The hall ticket of AP ECET 2019 was released for all registered candidates on April 23 in online mode. Registrations for AP ECET 2019 closed for all eligible candidates and the examination was conducted as a multiple choice online test. While the rank and result of AP ECET 2019 are being prepared, the candidates are required to meet 25% of the aggregate marks in the four subjects i.e., 50 marks out of a total of 200 to secure a rank.  There will be no minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates, Allotment of candidates will be done as per their merit, preference and availability of seats.
