As per the JEE Main 2018 exam pattern, the exam duration of both the papers is the same - 3 hours each. Paper I comprises of questions in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, each of equal weightage. Paper I carries a total of 360 marks; there are a total of 90 questions each carrying 4 marks. Paper 2 of JEE Main also has three subjects, but the subjects are Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Drawing Test. The total marks of Paper 2 are 390.

We can not predict any possible changes in the exam pattern of JEE Main 2018 unless something is shared officially by CBSE. However, most of it would be same as in the year 2017 and before. 85 to 95% of the pattern is expected to be same. CBSE may bring some changes in the exam pattern, which may be 5-7%, if there are any. However, pls wait till something is officially shared.
