Hey,
A domicile certificate is needed as a proof that the student holding the certificate is domicile/resident of state/UT by which the domicile is given. This is required to obtain state quota benefits.
In Gujarat, only those students who are born in Gujarat but have completed 10th and 12th from outside Gujarat are required to produce domicile.
