If you have EWS category at the time of registration. Firstly , you must have to ensure that you have valid certificate.
Then apply for jossa counseling. When the college is alloted on basis of jossa or any other counseling , then you have to show your EWS certificate or at the time of documents verification of desire college.

According to my opinion you have to submit EWS certificate at the JEE main registration time . Because AIR rank is different , Your category rank is different and EWS rank is also different .But you are not give your EWS certificate information at registration time you are not eligible for take benefit of EWS certificate at the admission time in colleges.
Or some private colleges give benefit.
This is depend on the colleges decision.
