Hello aspirant!!! The preparation for gate takes around 1.5 to 2 years. So ideally you can start preparing from your 3rd year of engineering. This is the time that most of the students follow. Although to perform better and get an edge over others in this fierce competition you could start preparing in 2nd year itself, or from your 4th sem to be precise . Hope this helps.

when you passed your 2nd year and come into 3rd year this time is very good for gate preparation but when you are in 2nd clear your all basics like all basic theorems and start your preparation from 3rd year hope you understand please use our app for more details
