The syllabus will be released before 5 or 6 months of exam and you know the situation now for covid, it may change or may not change. I think every year topics may change for jee main examination. so if u want to score the best rank, you have to check this year topics and start reading and keep going on

I highly recommend you to start studying and don't wait for syllabus to get released as it will be a wastage of time. For a JEE aspirant time is the most valuable asset.
