When PI round of cat they asked certificates of graduation?

PI (Personal Interview) has around 30-40% weightage in IIMs evaluation scheme for MBA entrance through CAT. This is mostly a decisiding factor for them to select students after crucial filtering process which test endurance (mental & physical), accuracy and board thinking horizon of students.

So this round being so important, interviewers actually have an option of looking through any appropriate aspect about the students like their graduation sheets, project reports, certifications, CAT score or admit card, any Identification, cover letter etc for them to evaluate the candidate properly, critically and fairly.

Even actual mathematical Problems are given on the spot to check the knowledge required. So the candidates are supposed to be really ready and prepared with all the documentation work and their knowledge to crack the interview.

Yes during pi round they ask for all the documents including passing certificate. But incase you are appearing for interview in 2019, and you have passed in 2018, then you can provide the provisional certificate that your college has to give you until final one arrives. The provisional certificate is valid for only about a year
