Intermediate colleges will open their admission session after result declaration for 10th. There is no declaration for registration mostly. You have to go to the campus and apply offline i.e. a form fillup which is very simple.

It is not a long process. For governnment colleges there are some percentage criteria which is different for different colleges and domicile. For this you have to know by asking anyone your know from the college or personally going to the campus.

Then after all the research work you can decide which college will be more suitable for you. There are lots of things which needs to be satisfied as you have to focus on studied highly as these two are really important for you.
