Now CA CPT has been renamed as CA Foundation.

If you have registered with the ICAI after 1st July 2017, then you will come under revised CA Course. As you will be registering now, you would have to appear for CA Foundation which is conducted twice in a year, May and November.
So, in order to appear in the November attempt, you should  have registered with the ICAI before 30th June 2018. As you are a bit late, you will now have to enroll yourself for May 2019 CA Foundation exam for which the last date of registration is 31st December 2018.
