When to join IIT coaching classes .Or coaching is necessary ?

Coaching is not necessary but then it gives confidence and ability to score good for competitive exams.

But there are many instances where students who didn't go to coaching and still got good

It all depends on your hard work

In the present scenario,  it is seen that candidates join the coaching for  IIT after their class eight. It depends on your preparation for the entrance exam. Sometimes students join the coaching first (normally when they are in class XI)  and then do self - study while on other occasions they first do self- study for the exam and then join coaching. There are others who join  the coaching when they are in  Class XII also and prepare  for the exam along with the board exams.

It depends on individual capability also. The objective of coaching is to provide you the right guidance and keep  you on your toes. There have been students who with sheer grit and determination have cracked the exam without coaching also.  Hence, it depends from individual to individual when they would like to join the coaching for IIT- JEE.

You can join coaching classes as early as possible as new batches are going to start.You can join coaching classes if you need perfect guidance and help if your basic concepts are not clear.Try to self study after coaching classes and practice a lot from ncert or other books.

Joining a coaching institute or not totally depends on you. Coaching institutes can only guide you but you need to work hard and determined to crack your exam it only depends on you.

There are many students who have cracked IIT without joining a coaching.

If you know how to prepae for your exam you don't need it but if you totally confuse you can join the coaching institute.

If you want to join the coaching institute you can join for two years after completing your 10th class.
