There's a very good history of gujjars,you would have know gujjars were known as gurjaras...

Gurjara are known as fighting tooth.Gurjars were regarded as OBC during British rule i.e, in 18th century..

After a long struggle of gujjars..In 2003 BJP took there struggle into consideration..

During elections tunings Vasundhara raje gave a promise to gujjars to change there caste from OBC to SC in 2003.
