KVPY 2018 will be held in the first week of November 2018 and applications for the same will open in the second week of July. The application form will be available online and the application fee is Rs. 1000 (Rs. 500 for SC/ ST/ PwD categories).

Read the eligibility criteria given below to know if you fulfil the conditions to apply -

Candidates pursuing an undergraduate degree in Basic Sciences such as B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S. in different science subjects are only eligible to apply.

1. For KVPY Stream SA – Those studying in class 9 with science subjects are eligible for KVPY. You should have obtained minimum 75% marks in Maths and science subjects in class 10. SC/ST/PWD category candidates must have obtained 65% in aggregate of Maths and Science subjects.

2. For KVPY Stream SX – Candidates currently in Class 12, who have obtained 60% (50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) can apply. Candidates pursuing UG programmes in basic sciences are eligible for KVPY 2018. Students having scored 75% marks in class 10 (65% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) in aggregate of all science subjects and Maths are eligible to apply.

5. For KVPY Stream SB – Students currently in the first year of Bachelor degree in Basic Sciences having obtained 60% (50% for reserved categories) in 10+2 are eligible. They need to obtain minimum 60% in Bachelor degree first year exam.

Note - Those pursuing UG programme in distance mode are not eligible to apply for KVPY 2018

The KVPY application form for the year 2018 will be released in the third week of July and candidates can fill the form before the third week of August in the online mode. The KVPY exam will be held in the first week of November in CBT mode.

KVYP registration will be started from 2nd week of july 2018, and the registration will close in 2nd week of august 2018.

And the exam will be held in 1st week of November 2018.
