When will commencement of academic term in NITs and IITs???

As per my knowledge, academic term in NITs and IITs begin in the last week of July. Currently, the jossa rounds are not completed. So, as soon as all rounds are done, you will be asked to report at your college ( NIT or IIT). About 4-5 days window is there, in which you need do your admission by reaching at that college. After this done, within 2-3 days, your academic term will begin.

See you need to say which college are you going in nit or iit. Just asking about when does the commencement of academic year happens doesn't solve the problem , because these institutes are autonomous they have their own academic schedule , no one controls them. Soevery college starts at their own prescribed date.
