when will new session start in schools due to covid 19 ???

On 25th April, 2020, a notification has been released by UGC according to which two committees have been constituted by UGC to look into the issues faced by higher educational institutes regarding teaching-learning processes, examinations, admission, academic calendar and other related aspects in view of COVID-19 pandemic and country wide lockdown in order to avoid academic loss and take suitable measures for the future of students.
Based on the reports submitted by these two committees, collective discussion and meeting will be held and just after that, in the next week, UGC will issue Guidelines/Advisories to Universities and Colleges about the measures to be taken for the current academic session and the next session, in the larger interest of the students.

Schools are likely to promote its students to the next higher standard except for Class 10th and Class 12th batches.
There is some news going on in media that the new sessions may start from the month of September. But no confirmatory reports are available in this regard.
After lifting of the lockdown, further updates will probably be available.

It is difficult to predict the dates for reopening of schools in the present situation.Even after the lockdown is over there will be restrictions. Schools are likely to reopen after the pandemic is contained.
