Spot Counselling is done when there are multiple vacant seats in any branch of NITs, IIITs, GFTIs or IITs. This counselling is conducted offline and inside the colleges. Candidates need to pay a certain amount of money for spot counselling. If there are seats vacant after the completion of first round of spot counselling, second round is conducted and subsequent number of counselling are done until there is no seat left vacant.
