where the actually fertilization takes place

Hi
In humans, during fertilization, the motile sperms swim and pass the cervix to enter into the uterus and finally reach the ovum released by the ovary and fuse with it in the ampulla-isthmic junction ( this fusion of sperm with egg is called fertilization )
Thus , fertilization actually takes place in the ampulla-isthmic junction of the fallopian tube
Thank you
