In order to be eligible to get admission in IITs, NITs, GFTIs you should have minimum 75% in class 12th as a General category & 65% as a reserved category or you should be in top 20 percentile in class 12th from the respective board.
The admission is based on the merit list which is prepared on the basis of exam score only.
