Whether initial deposit to be made by 31.05.19 is refundable in case not taking admission?

It depends upon the refund policy of the university in which you are seeking for the admission. It also depends upon the time when you are not taking the admission after depositing the fees. This means that the sooner you inform University about not taking the admission the higher percentage of the Amount deposited will be refunded to you.

For instance ,last year ,the refund policy of IC University was that if you inform them for cancellation of your seat in the college in the month of August then they will refund a particular sum of the deposit but not whole of the deposit where as if you inform them the same after the expiry of specified time then no amount shall be refunded.

So you have to go through the refund policy for the University in which you are  going to to deposit the amount as it varies from University to University.
