You should try to score good marks in JEE Main to get admission in good NITs so that you can get good placements.
To start your preparation you should refer to NCERT books to make your concepts strong.
Apart, from NCERT you can refer other books like for physics you can refer to HC Verma for chemistry OP Tandon and for mathematics you can go for RD Sharma.
Don't forget to refer previous year papers to know the exam pattern and to know the level of the exam. Solve as many as mock test series for your practice.
