Most standard public engineering colleges and government-mandated state entrance exams strictly require Mathematics (MPC stream) for a traditional B.Tech in Computer Science , AI, or Data Science. However, select private universities and newer NEP-flexible guidelines allow pure BiPC (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) students into tech or specialized computing pathways, often by requiring a bridge course in Mathematics.
