You may get some new nits,but chances are very slim. You better apply for deemed universities or some reputed private universities. best of luck.

at dtu there is huge competition. you better check previous year cutt-offs.
@Purushottam...sir,my sc rank is 9741,can you tell me which colleges can I expect? when I asked this question on this app,they answered I won't get any good govt. college :(

the answer have you gotten is probably true dear. because your rank is too high even in category rank but you can expect few seats at new nits such as nit Shillong, so take part in counseling. and also apply for some deemed universities.
Sir,can you tell me whether I should take lower branch in lower NITs or CSE branch in any private college?

if you want to pursue cse ,go for it. new nits have some faculty and infrastructure issue because they are at initial stage. there are many Private college which has best faculty and infrastructure and placement cell. so you can opt private universities. but you should first take part in jossa counselling. after you can decide. good luck.
