You will have many options with you depending upon your caste and category.
And around 6000 you may have all the colleges open for you but it also depends upon in which branch you want admission ( because cse is very demanding and you may not get cse (rare chance to get depending upon your caste and state ))
You have these college available which are good :
NIT KURUKSHETRA
NIT TRICHY
NIT WARANGAL
NIT CALICUT
NIT ALLAHABAD
NIT JAIPUR
Etc.
You can check last year cut offs for specific college and specific branch.

6000 rank in jee is very good . Anybody with this rank take admission in various good NIT .
With help of home state quota you able to get good branch in your state NIT also.
As opening rank and closing rank varies with different round of counseling.You not have to worry about that as your rankings are good.
