Hope you are doing good. As india is a growing country there is demand for every candidates from different branches. You can opt for computer science or IT as it the most growing industries now as well as you can also opt for mainstream branches like electrical mechanical civil also. There are also some growing streams which may not be available in all colleges like Solar Engineering, Wind Energy Engineering, Nanotechnology etc

Everyone answers the same, it is absolutely, Computer Science and engineering. And specialization with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning will definitely, make a better future to you. However, there is no less demand for the courses like, Mechanical Engineering, it has a broad scope in the overseas, Electrical engineering and civil engineering were also recorded as some of the best courses in the engineering. Aero Space, nanotechnology, Marine engineering were also considered as highest salary pad jobs. It all depends upon your interest to choose a better domain.

Basically, CSE and IT course are in popular demand.. in some institutes , there is a new course arrived named Electronics and computer science which may be listed as upcoming trends .
