Which engineering course involves more biology
The only courses in Engineering that involve more Biology are BioMedical Engineering and B.Tech in BioTechnology . There are many colleges that offer both these courses. There are three ways of getting an admission into these courses: a) Jee Mains Cutoff Score for the respective colleges
b) University Examination conducted by different Universities
c)Payment Seat which differs according to the college
While opting for these courses in Bachelor's degree , you have to make sure that these courses are heavily rooted in biology, chemistry and other physical sciences. Taking these courses , you are also exposed to lab equipment and computer applications used in the Biomedical Industry.
There are many companies that ofer jobs in the field of BioMedical and BioTechnology Engineering which would surely help you to show interest while opting for these courses.
Biotechnology will include more biology in the engineering degree. There is more demand for this group now a days.If you are interested in biology including some technical knowledge then biotechnology will provide you a good platform for your career.
Thanks
Hi,
B.Tech in Bio-Medical Engineering and B.Tech Biotechnology involves more of Biology. However, you must know that only VIT and SRM Universities are the 2 institutes which have the provision of offering admission to candidates on the basis of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In other words, you can sit for VITEEE and SRMJEEE entrance exams even if you have Physics, Chemistry and Biology in class 12th. For rest all engineering entrance exams, you need to have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects of study in class 12th.
