Heres a glimpse of EFLU 2019 eligibility criteria which the candidates can take a quick look at. Before filling the application form of EFLU, candidates should ensure that they fulfil the eligbility criteria.
Candidates appearing for UG courses must have passed the qualifying examination, that is, 10+2 exam or intermediate or equivalent exam with 50% (general/OBC) and 45%(SC/ST) as minimum aggregate. The aggregate should include English as a subject. For B. Ed. courses, candidates must have scored the same aggregate as per their category in B.A./M.A. English.
Candidates appearing for PG courses should have passed their B.A. in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 55% (general/OBC) and 50% (SC/ST). For foreign languages, the candidate must have done B.A. in the concerned language with the same aggregate requirements as per their category. Or the candidate must have an advanced diploma degree/equivalent in the concerned language along with a B.A. degree in any discipline with the same aggregate requirements for PG courses.
For PGDTE, candidates must have scored 55% (General/OBC) and 50% (SC/ST) as minimum aggregate in M.A. English/English Literature/TESL/ELT/Linguistics. For PGDTA, candidates should have obtained 55% (General/OBC) and 50% (SC/ST) as minimum aggregate in M.A. Arabic/Arabic Literature/Teaching of Arabic/Linguistics
