Admission to undergraduate programmes in all IITs is tied to the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE). Candidates who qualify for admission through IIT-JEE can apply for admission in a five-year B.Arch degree at IIT Kharagpur. Only those candidates who qualify JEE Advanced will be eligible to apply for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT).
Admissions to the B.Arch programmes offered by IIT Kharagpur will be on the basis of the marks scores in JEE Advanced AAT. Allotment of seats will be done through JoSAA on the basis of the All India Rank and performance of the candidates in JEE Advanced AAT 2019

The Eligibility criteria for admission is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized Central or State board recognized by AIU. Or a Diploma recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or a State Board of Technical Education of at least 3 years duration.
