CSE offers greater placements if placement is your sole priority. Many people learn to code and pursue careers in software even if they join one of the core disciplines. Therefore, choosing CSE can lead to favourable placements.

However, enrolling in NITs can help you build your brand.

If they have excellent teaching, excellent placements, and if they are well-established, even state-level private institutions can be beneficial.

Everything is up to you. If you manage your study with coding and other CS related stuff with your lower branch in NIT then go for NIT college.
