Hey,

I'd suggest you to take up the top branch in NIT if it's from the top NITs like Warangal, Trichy, Surathkal. You can take up any branch if the IITs which you are going for are old IITs like Kharagpur, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai.

If you take up a lower branch, you will have to work hard to shift to your desired branch only considering that there is an option to change the branches
