which is best 3years corues or 5years corues for law
Hello,
First of all let me brief you about the core difference of three years LLB and five years Integrated Law Programs-
Integrated Law Programs is for a duration of five years, comes in various forms such as BA-LLB, BBA-LLB, BCA-LLB, BCom-LLB, BSc LLB etc, as the name suggests it's amalgamation of law with the other discipline of arts/management/computer application/commerce/science etc, its eligibility criteria is passed 10+2 from a recognized board securing 45% or above depending upon the norms of the university, admission can be done through entrance tests such as CLAT/AILET/LFAT/BLAT or state law entrance exams such as KLEE/AP LAWCET/TS LAWCET/MHT CET LAW etc, in other cases such as TNDALU admission is strictly based on the merit of the qualifying examination,
LLB is of three years, and its eligibility criteria is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university securing 45% or above depending upon the norms of the university, admission process may be done through entrance tests such as DU LLB, PU LLB, BHU UET, or even state law entrance tests as aforementioned, or it can be based on the merit of the qualifying examination,
Law as a discipline allows candidates from any discipline whether it's after 12th or graduation, however if you're sure about having it as a career , go for integrated law for five years as per your choice as it will save one year, for instance in case you choose to do three years LLB, it will be after three or four years of graduation, and another three years to make you a law graduate, also take into consideration what kind of integrated law program you want to pursue as it comes in various forms, though the opportunities more or less remain the same for three or five years law graduate, the course curriculum varies in integrated law courses, and also it depends on your choice, for example if you wish to work in corporate sector then BBA-LLB/BCom LLb is more suited because of amalgamation of respective subjects with law, the course curriculum you will go through, get to know about the faculty, infrastructure, placements etc prior to deciding upon the college.
Hello candidate,
Hope you are doing great. See, if you are confident that you want to make career in law then the 5-year LLB programme is the best option for you. This course will not only save one year of education as compared to 3 year LLB programmes but will also offer the same educational merit.
A 3 year llb course is an under graduate programme that can be pursued after 10+2 and focuses on the core subjects related to law.
Whereas, a 5 year llb is an integrated programme pursued along with any undergraduate programs such as BA , simultaneously with the core LLB program.
I hope this will be helpful.
Revert back here if any query.
All the best !!
