In most of the Professional courses the hons degree is provided for those who used to get a marks above a certain marks as set in terms by the university. For example in a university, it has rules that a student who score above 60% marks will get a B.Pharm Hons degree and for those less than 60% will be awarded BPharm degree. Thus essentially the course is the same but there will be certain threshold which you have to satisfy in order to get the B.Pharm Hons degree.
