As you can see, both JEE and Polytechnic excel in their respective fields. You can apply for polytechnic if you have finished your 10th or 12th grade, or both. You can apply for JEE if you have finished your 10th and 12th grades in a row. You can apply for polytechnic after 10th grade, but not JEE, because JEE requires that you have finished your 10+2 with the courses PCM.
Hello aspirant,
See, both JEE and Polytechnic is good at their own respective positions. If you have completed you 10th or 12th or both, then you can apply for polytechnic. If you have completed 10th and 12th consecutively, then you can apply for JEE. However, you can apply for polytechnic after 10th but not JEE, since it asks for eligibility criteria that you must have completed your 10+2 with the subjects Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
But, if you have completed 10th and 12th as well, rather go for JEE rather than polytechnic. It's not that you cannot pursue polytechnic, you can. But thing is this, it is rather suggested for you to for JEE. You can apply for both but to pursue, you have to select one. Rest, the choice is yours. If you have any doubt, feel free to ask us in the comment section.
Hope, it helps you.
