In comparison to both the streams, Chemical Engineering is better than Biotechnology. Biotechnology is more of a science rather than Engineering. You will deal with the Study of various. organisms and all. Whereas chemical engineering is a combination of Mechanical,Petroleum,Biotechnology and all. The Opportunities for Biotechnology are also less. But in Chemical Engineering after your graduation if you can write GATE exam and score good marks you can crack PSU'S like IOCL,DRDO, ISRO and GAIL.
