Which is the best among Delhi and Chandigarh as i want to pursue psychology. As my profession (specially the placements)

For a profession of psychologist, every place is suitable be it Delhi or Chandigarh whatsoever. But in practicality it is better to go for Delhi as Delhi as more job opportunities when it comes to psychologists. There are developed hospitals, various Mental health clinics, special children clinics, various NGOs and to start your private practice in a state like Delhi will give a boost to your career.

Coming to education again, for your Master's, if you are comparing between Delhi and Chandigarh it is better to go for Delhi because there is more exposure in Delhi, you'll have first hand experience and knowledge of working with patients/clients. Moreover, the syllabus and faculty of Delhi is better as compared to other Universities and Delhi University is the topmost university in India, the prestige of it is phenomenal.

Coming to colleges, see, when it comes to Master's or Postgraduation Studies, there are no specific "colleges", just Universities.

Talking specifically about University of Delhi, here, there are two campuses, North Campus and South Campus.

North Campus has a course in General Psychology with around 100 seats and South Campus has a course in Applied Psychology with around 30 seats. The classes are held at the respective campuses official buildings. So what you must understand here is that, there are no specific concept of colleges here. It's just the University and the campus.

To give you perspective, in Calcutta University there are two courses, one in General Psychology and the other in Applied Psychology. Both the courses are held at Rajabazar Science College which is the University's Official building of Sealdah Campus.

Delhi is suitable as per your profession i mean Psychology. Especially if you are considering for placements Then delhi is only the suitable one as it is much developed than Chandigarh in terms institutions, companies and many more too!
