New Delhi: The Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) has been allowed the status of 'Establishment of National Importance' and now can grant confirmation and degrees to understudies of its own, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry C R Chaudhary said yesterday. The FDDI bill was passed by Parliament on July 2017.

FDDI CAMPUSES. The foundation has Twelve well-planned grounds at Noida, Fursatganj, Chennai, Kolkata, Rohtak, Chhindwara, Jodhpur, Guna, Patna, Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Ankleshwar with heaps of open space and greenery around.

Fddi Noida is considered as the best among all the grounds. I'm from FDDI Jodhpur, as of now in second year.
