JU is undoubtedly one of the finest Engineering Colleges we have in our country. Its NIRF Rank is 12th. Even some students prefer this college over some IITs also. The campus is vast, the academics are great, even the placement is more than par. So we can understand the magnitude of this college.

• HERITAGE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY(PUBLIC)

HIT is a recognized public engineering college. the academics are said to be good, the placement rate is high. You can have a visit to the campus and talk with the students before joining.

• INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT(PUBLIC)

IEM is the oldest public engineering college of the state. In this college, we will feel like in school. Discipline is their priority. Located in sector V. Had a great reputation. placement is moderate.

• NARULA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY(PUBLIC)

NIT is the best public engineering college of JIS group undoubtedly, still producing good engineers. Autonomous University.

• HALDIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY(PUBLIC)

HIT is said to be good in specific departments. Chemical Engineering is good over there. Consult any teacher before choosing this one.

• KALYANI GOVT. ENGINEERING COLLEGE(GOVT.)

KGEC is located in Nadia district. It is far from Kolkata. This is a govt aided university. Fees are very less. Placement is good.

• TECHNO INDIA UNIVERSITY(PUBLIC)

TIU is one of the best engineering colleges of Techno India Group. Gee structure is high than other colleges. You can join this one also.

• JALPAIGURI GOVT. ENGINEERING COLLEGE(GOVT.)

JGEC is situated in the northern part of West Bengal. The lavish green campus is there. Academics are great. Placement is par.

See the best college in the WBJEE entrance exam is JADHAVPUR UNIVERSITY. But the cut off for the college is bit high , u have to score a higher marks and gain the rank below 1000 if u are outside the west Bengal. But if u are residential of the WB then u can have the rank of 3000.
