In order to make a career in teaching, you should start by getting a degree. Depending on whether you plan on teaching at school level or University level, you can choose to get your bachelor's, master's or a PhD in the field of your interest. After having decided on the field you wish to teach in, you need to get a degree in education. This would include either a B.ed or M.ed.
