For all the B. Tech programs that you want to pursue through IITs your Jee Mains score is used a check point.
If you qualify Jee mains paper 1, then you are eligible to give Jee Advanced and your advanced score will take you to IITs.
But for Architecture courses your Jee mains paper 2 is considered.
