According to the rankings by MHRD/NIRF 2019
NIT WArangal was ranked the best for placement and it had the highest number of placements done with good starting package
The average package was around 12 lakhs and the highest package offered was 43 lakhs
Matter of surviving depends upon your capability of accepting things and facing them.

According to me the list should be something like this if the NITs are to placed according to their placement wise ranking
- NIT Trichy
- NIT Surathkal
- NIT Warangal
- MNNIT Allahabad
- MNIT Jaipur /NIT Calicut
- SVNIT Surat / NIT Nagpur
- MANIT Bhopal / NIT Kurukshetra / NIT Rourkela
- NIT Durgapur / NIT Jamshedpur
- NIT Jalandhar/NIT Delhi
- NIT Raipur/ NIT Hamirpur
