There is no comparison between both the streams. Both are distinctively different. It all depends on your interest, passion and what do you want to do. Do not just join a course because your friends are joining or due to any common trend.

In Architecture, you will learn the art of designing houses, office spaces, shopping centres, skyscrapers, malls and hotels, etc. This programme is creative in nature and is a combination of technology with arts. Whereas Civil Engineering deals with planning, constructing, designing, maintaining and operating infrastructures, etc. You will also learn to develop better infrastructural facilities to sustain an eco-friendly environment. All historical structures like Taj Mahal, London Bridge, Coliseum of Rome and the Great Wall of China and Howrah Bridge are creations of civil engineers.
