Both institutions have their pros and cons which I am listing but if you go by the repute in Indian Hotel Industry, IHMs especially top ones are considered way better than IIHMs.
- IHMs are government institution whereas IIHMs are private ones.
- Fees- You can graduate from IHMs with comparatively low fees than IIHMs as per annum fees for IHMs on average is around Rs. 1Lac (including food one time per day, excluding accommodation) and for IIHMs it is around Rs. 3 Lacs (including food two times a day and excluding accommodation.
- Degree- You can earn an International Degree in Hospitality Management through IIHMs collaboration with the tie-up UK and with the University of West London, London, unlike IHMs.
- Placement- Placements are good in both.
- International Exposure- you will get more international exposure at IIHMs.
Kindly make your decision based upon the campus you are likely to get of IHMs or IIHMs.
