Hope you are doing well. If you have attempted your 12 th class examination in 2018 then the notification of top 20 percentile for your board will be considered of 2018 only for you so it doesn't matter in which year you have given JEE as the year in which you took your 12 th exams would be mainly considered for the top 20 percentiles.

See i know that you have given intermediate exam in 2018 and jee mains in 2019. So you should know that all the certificates and informations required in jee mains and advanced required should be of current year , but regarding 12th exam criteria , the top 20 percentile criteria should be of tthe year in which you gave 12th exam.
