Which percentile is enough to join NIT?

For OBC-NCL same criteria is there ,for SC/ST one needs to score 65% marks for qualifying. Basically it depends on your 12th board .Basically 75% is ideal score ,if you want to take admission in NIT. It should be an aggregate 75% or more than that for General and OBC category candidates

To get into CSE at top 7 NITs you need atleast 280+ as the claing ranks are wwll below 100.

For branches like ECE and Mechanical engineering at top 7 NITs, anything above 240+ shall suffice.
To get into newer NITs, minimum of 200+ is recommended in safe side, as we have seen cutoffs shooting way above if exam difficulty is low.
Scoring ranks under top 2500 will guarantee you seat in any of the NITs.
