Which profession is best iit or medical
Both IIT (engineering/tech) and medical (doctor) are excellent, but the “best” depends on your interest and long-term goals:
-
Medical (MBBS/PG): Stable, highly respected, lifelong demand, but takes 10–12 years of study for specialization, stressful lifestyle, and slower financial growth initially.
-
IIT/Engineering: Faster career start (B.Tech in 4 years), huge scope in software, AI, data science, startups, abroad opportunities, high salary potential, but very competitive and market-dependent.
If you’re passionate about healthcare, patient care, biology, choose medical. If you love maths, technology, innovation, problem-solving, choose IIT.
Hello Sushanta
Which profession is best between Engineering (IIT) and Medical (MBBS) depends upon your personal preference, interests and future aspirations. There is no universal answer to it.
If you like Mathematics, calculations, technology, innovation, physics things like these etc then Engineering is the go to choice for you.
If you are passionate about Biology, healthcare, helping people etc then Medical would be better.
Engineering from a top IIT and MBBS from a top Med school will be equally rewarding. It's just what do you want to be.
Thank You!!!
