Which stream is best for competitive exams?
Hello Yogesh
It does not matter from which stream you are. You can prepare for any competitive exams with the basic knowledge on your hand .
- For IAS it is better to have arts as your stream but there is no problem if you are not from arts but from science ane commerce . you just need to have the basic knowledge of social sciences from the school level itself.
- For CAT, commerce is generally considered the best .
What I want to suggest you is that do decide your area of interest and go for the futher steps.
Hello,
It depends on which exam you are giving. If you are willing to prepare for IIT in your near future than science would be the best option and if you are thinking of CLAT, CAT, IAS/PCS , BANK PO/ CLERK, CA or CS then in that case commerce will be the best stream.
You can tell me which all competitive exams you will be giving in your future so that accordingly I can recommend you to choose which stream you should opt for.
Hi there,
Competitive exams are not limited to any particular stream. You can opt for graduation in whatever field you are interested in, be it science, commerce or arts. What matters later is your command on the subjects you have studied till the time of applying for a competitive exam.
However, aptitude, reasoning and English are at the core of most of the competitive exams so you may opt for sciences, B.Tech, BCA etc. as these courses build up your analytical skills. Besides you can always work side by side continuing your preparation. Arts courses generally focus on theoretical, philosophical aspects which are useful but now competitions look for aptitude in candidates.
I hope this gives you an insight. Good luck !
